Inez Martinez

Inez Marty De La O Martinez, 77, of Texas City passed away Thursday, December 13, 2012 in Tucson, Arizona.

Services will be held 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Emken Linton Funeral Home in Texas City. Burial will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster. Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at EmkenLinton Funeral Home in Texas City.

Marty was born April 20, 1935 in San Elizaro, Texas. He worked at AmerigasTrigas and Parker Brothers prior to retirement. Marty was a BBQ Pit Master and a local mechanic to anyone in need. He enjoyed dancing and was a loving father, grandfather, father in law and respected friend.

He is preceded in death by his wife Lupe Gonzales first wife Eufermia Holbert and sons Bernard Martinez and Lee Gonzales

Survivors include his sons and spouses Michael and Kim Martinez Ronnie and Niki Gonzales and Michael Gonzales daughters and their spouses Julie and Jon Smith, Rebecca and Michael Gallagher, Cindy and Gary Lopez, Sylvia and Ben Garza, and Donna Gonzales daughter in law Diane Gonzales and numerous grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, nieces, nephews and other friends and relatives.

Pallbearers are Ronnie Gonzales, Michael Gonzales, Anthony Martinez, Christopher Crawford, Ruben Rivera and Chase Gibson.
