Homer Parker

Homer E. Parker, 93, of Dickinson Texas, went home to be with the Lord
Monday, November 26, 2012.

A funeral service will be held at 7:00 P.M., Friday, November 30, 2012 at EmkenLinton Funeral Home in Texas City, Texas. Visitation will precede the service from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. The entombment will be Monday, December 3, 2012 in Birmingham, Alabama.

Mr. Parker was born July 21, 1919 in Birmingham, Alabama. He was a retired F.B.I. clerk from the Birmingham office. He served as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Air Force during WWII.

He is preceded in death by his father and mother, William E. and Maurine Parker, and four brothers.

Survivors include his wife of 71 years Mildred W. Parker son Donald Parker and wife Ann daughter Nannette McBrayer and husband Doug brother Howard Parker and wife Sue sister Maurine Hunter and husband Arnold sister Tera McCombs and 6 grandchildren, 11 greatgrandchildren, many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
