Harry Laporte Sr.

Harry Patrick LaPorte, Sr., 78, of Texas City passed away Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Mainland Medical Center.

Services will be held 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Emken Linton Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Dickinson, TX. Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at EmkenLinton Funeral Home in Texas City.

Harry was born March 11, 1934 in Arnaudville, Louisiana. He was a Pipefitter by trade.

He is preceded in death by his parents Pierre and Cecile Frederick LaPorte sisters Janice LaPorte and Rita Mae Kidder.

Survivors include his wife Norma Jean LaPorte of Texas City son Harry LaPorte, Jr. of Texas City daughter Patricia Jean LaPorte of Texas City grandson Rodney J. LaPorte brothers Eric LaPorte and wife Jeanette, Pierre LaPorte Jr. and wife Jean Lloyd LaPorte and wife Arlene, Fred LaPorte and wife Sandra, Marvin LaPorte, Carroll LaPorte and LeRoy LaPorte numerous nieces, nephews and other friends and relatives.
