Gordon Cronk

Our father, grandfather and friend Gordon Stuart Cronk was born August 13, 1928 to Leroy Emerson and Eva Cook, in Detroit Michigan.

September 3, 1948 Gordon married his high school sweetheart Edith Styles, also from Detroit. Moving to Northern Michigan they enjoyed three years of "honeymoon" and then began having their seven children, daughters, Sharon Elizabeth and husband Stephen Daudt, Ava Lynn and husband Randy Snyder, Glenda Jean Jones, Lana Kay Gunhouse and partner Carl Moratto and daughter-in-law, Marty Henry; sons, Martin Stuart "Bud" Cronk, William Ellis "Bill" and wife Tammie Lee, Robert Emerson "Bob" and wife Tammy Sue. Followed by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a great great grandson.

Gordon is preceded in death by his wife, Edith; his parents, Leroy and Eva; brother, George; son, Martin and grandson, Robbie.

Gordon passed from this earthly home August 20, 2022, surrounded by family and great love. He will be greatly missed, never forgotten, by many.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 23, 2022 with a visitation beginning 10:00 a.m., at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City. Lunch and fellowship to follow at Esteban's Fiesta Shack at 1:00 p.m., 402 W. Main Street in League City, Texas.
