Gloria Molis

Gloria Zavala Molis, 89, of Texas City, TX, was born January 31, 1933, in Monterey,  Mexico.  She passed away  August 27, 2022.  She is now united with her loved ones in her new life of eternal peace.  Gloria was a loving, caring mother and grandmother.  She was kind, gentle and possessed a wonderful sense of humor, as well as a deep sense of compassion and understanding.  Gloria loved to travel.  She was a member of a quilting group and enjoyed being with her friends.  She was a skilled cook and delighted family with the food she made.

Gloria is survived by her six children, Angelina Francis (husband Joe); Erlinda Hilley; Charlie Molis; Robert Molis (wife Maureen); Ruby Molis; Toni Laws (husband Charles); 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 38 years, Antonio Molis, Jr., granddaughter Sarah E. Laws and son-in-law Michael Hilley.

Visitation will be held 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Emken-Linton Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held  10:00 a.m., Friday, September 2, 2022 at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City.  Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Molis, Tyler Molis, Phillip Molis, Casey Schlageter, Christopher Molis and Brandon Thomas.

Celebration of Life reception will be held at a later time.
