Francis Joseph Zeringue, Jr., 64, of Dickinson, Texas, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2012, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at EmkenLinton Funeral Home in Texas City with Dr. R.L. Calhoun officiating with a burial to follow at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock. Visitation will be 6:30 P.M. to 8:30 P.M., Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at EmkenLinton Funeral Home in Texas City.
Francis was born July 2, 1948 in Galveston, Texas to parents Francis, Sr. and Billye Bujan Zeringue. He graduated from La Marque High School and entered the Army in 1968. He proudly served his country in Vietnam from 1969 to 1970. Francis married Sharon Brannon in 1969. He worked for BPAmoco for 27 years before retiring and going to work for Fluor until his retirement in 2006.
He loved to ride his Harleys, go camping and spend time with family, friends and especially his Grand Babies.
He is preceded in death by his father and mother in law Wesley and Naomi Brannon.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years Sharon Zeringue son Brian and wife Shawn and their children Hannah, Amanda and Justin daughter Leslie Mullen and husband Josh and their children Cameron and Keegan his mother and father Francis Sr. and Billye sisters Kathleen Osborne and husband Dean, and Yvonne Bill and husband Jason, Sherri DArgenio and husband Doug brother Ronnie Zeringue and wife Dana Brother in law Wayne Brannon and wife Alice and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers are Brian Zeringue, Josh Mullen, Harold Silbersen, Michael Welch, Chad Zeringue, J.J. Freeze, Diron Painter, Wayne Brannon and Mark Seelbach.
