FRANCES DAHL

After a journey of almost 99 years, Frances Evelyn Dahl passed away on July 26, 2014 at Gulf Healthcare Center. She has been reunited in heaven with her husband, Bryan Dahl and children, Robert, Mary Lou and Gloria Ann.

Graveside services will be Monday, July 28 at 10 AM at Galveston Memorial Park in Hitchcock under the direction of Emken Linton Funeral Home.

Born August 20, 1915 in Dallas, Texas to Walter and Beulah Browning, the family moved to Houston in 1918. She married Bryan in 1934. Frances was a resident of Texas City since 1940. Survivors include a son, Edwin and wife, Leica, six grandchildren, four great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Frances worked with Bryan at Dahls Bait Camp from 1954 until Hurricane Carla in 1961, then at Beardens Lucky 7 from 19671975 and later Humphries Grocery Store from 1975 till 1987.
