FLORA MARIE YOUNG

Flora Marie Young, 90, of Texas City passed away Friday, September 26, 2014 in League City.

Funeral services will be 10 AM Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at the EmkenLinton Funeral Home in Texas City. Burial will follow at the Houston National Cemetery. Visitation for Mrs. Young will be Monday, September 29 from 57 PM at the funeral home.

Mrs. Young was born April 15, 1924 in Rising Star,TX. She retired from UTMB as a Registered Nurse. She was a longtime member of the Texas City Garden Club and the DAR.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Cecil Young.

Survivors include her sons Jim Young and wife Frances, Dave Young and wife, Maylen and Chuck Young and wife, Kim a brother, Ray Barrington and wife, Almaz 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and other relatives.
