Evelyn Brasher

Evelyn Frances Trbula Brasher, 76, passed away Friday, January 18, 2013 after a long courageous battle with cancer.

Evelyn was born on September 29, 1936 in George West, Texas to Eddie and Catherine Trbula. She was a graduate of Ball High School and lived in Texas City for over 50 years. She was retired from ISP Chemical for 14 years.

Evelyn is survived by her husband John L. Brasher of Texas City son John Brasher, Jr. and wife Tina of Santa Fe daughter Shari Daughtry and husband Charles of Friendswood daughter Rhonda Harshbarger and husband Edd of Tomball sister Catherine Trbula Wondrash and husband Cecil of East Bernard Grandchildren Shannon Daughtry, Tiffany Brasher Spier, C.J. Daughtry, Dakota Brasher, Michelle Salinas, Krystal Hill and Andy Brasher four great grandchildren numerous nieces, nephews and other friends and family.

There will be a visitation from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Emken Linton Funeral Home in Texas City, followed by a private family service.

The family would like to thank Amber and Paulette at Night Moves for providing many years of enjoyment and friendship to our wife and mother.

We would also like to thank Renay and all the nurses at AMED hospice.
