ENRIQUE DUPLAN

Enrique Duplan, 55, of Texas City, passed away Sunday, October 6, 2013 at Clear Lake Regional Hospital.

A Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 10, 2013 at St. Mary of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church in Texas City with Father Tom Ponzini officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at EmkenLinton Funeral Home with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Mr. Duplan was born June 15, 1958 in Piedras Negras, Mexico. He was a member of St. Mary of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church and recognized by the City of La Marque as a business owner of Main Street Welding Fabrication where he made custom BBQ Pits.

He is preceded in death by his father, Manuel E. Duplan and brother Martin Duplan.

Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Rosa I. Duplan his mother Teodora Duplan his son Enrique M. Duplan and wife Alexis a daughter Liliana Duplan his sisters Queta Ramos, Isabel Duplan, Cristina Duplan, Lupe Duplan and Carmen Duplan his granddaughter Alannah Sophia Duplan sistersinlaw Ana Avalos and husband Agustin and Tere Chaires his uncle Jose Duplan his best friend Maria T. Garza numerous nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.
