Emmitt Harrington

The Angels took Emmitt Wayne Harrington home Tuesday, February 6, 2018 he was a loving husband, brother, step father, uncle and friend.

Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 10, 2018. Visitation will be from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m., at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City, Texas. Emmitt's wish was to be cremated. Please dress casual.

He goes to be with his grandparents, his pop, mom, sister and nephew. He leaves behind his wife, Rita Karen Harrington; brother, Eugene Harrington and wife Dee; step son, John B. Kelly; nephew, Robert Buckner; niece-in-law, Rebecca Buckner and his four great nieces and great-great nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his best friend, David Comeaux and wife Blanca. David and Emmitt were friends from childhood until present days. His traveling buddies, James and Joyce Richard, Mike and Lorraine McMahan, Susan and Frank Campbell and Emily Petron; hunting buddies, Tommy Taylor and C.J. and special cousin Ron Martin; special friends, Roxy and Ian Menzies;
Marian and Christa Ryan; brother and sister-in-law, Edell and Brenda Pinter; sister and brother-in-law, Robin and Jim Miller and nieces and nephews, Maegan, Matt, Clay (Monkey Boy) and Chloe; many other cousins, friends and relatives.

He will be missed beyond words can say. FAIR WINDS AND FOLLOWING SEAS MY LOVE!
