Eludina Luna Herrera (Kikie), 89, of Texas City, Texas passed away January 12, 2018 with loving family at her bedside.
Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 17, 2018 with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Emken Linton Funeral Home in Texas City, Texas. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Emken-Linton Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Galveston Memorial Park.
She was born April 14, 1928 in Sugarland, Texas and was retired from Delux Cleaners.
Her hobbies included traveling, gambling at casino and games rooms, watching baseball and her favorite team the Astros, playing loteria and toma todo. Her home was always open for coffee and good food with pan dulce and family. Sunday morning pancakes and her love for Werther's Originals. Eludina also loved fishing, word search, price is right and watching young and the restless. She loved church and hearing the word of God.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin M. Herrera; parents, Lucio and Delfina Luna; brothers, Paul, Domingo, Edward, Raul, Joe, and Juan; sisters, Socorro, Emma, Frances and Margaret.
Survivors include her children, Diane Hernandez, Benjamin Herrera Jr., Juanita (Tomas) Reyes, Henry (Rachael) Herrera, Robert Herrera, Sr., Samuel (Rosie) Herrera and Julie Rojas; sister, Theresa (Adolfo) Ruiz; sister-in-law's, Sarah, Eula and Mary Alice; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and other relatives.
Pallbearers are Andrew Hernandez, Jr., Andrew Hernandez III, Shawn Herrera, Brian Alan Courtney, Jr., Robert Herrera, Jr., and Joshua Rojas. Honorary Dae�-Jone Tatum, Antonio Herrera, and Raymond Herrera.
