Eloy Gonzalez Sr.

Eloy C. Gonzalez Sr., 67, of Texas City, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2012, at his residence in Texas City, Texas.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, February 17, 2012, at EmkenLinton Funeral Home in Texas City. Burial will follow at Forest Park East in Webster. Visitation will be from 3:005:00 P.M., Thursday, February 16, 2012 at EmkenLinton Funeral Home.

Mr. Gonzalez was born September 22, 1944 in Linares, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Eloy enjoyed riding his Harley, listening to his favorite music and watching sunrises in the morning. He also liked drinking coffee while sitting on his patio feeding the birds and spending time with family and friends. Eloy was a wonderful husband, father, and brother. He was dearly loved by family and friends and will remain in our hearts.

He is preceded in death by his Mother, Virginia Corona Gonzalez Father, Raymundo L. Gonzalez Sr. and Brother, Raymundo L. Gonzalez Jr.

Survivors include his Wife, Maria C. Gonzalez children from his previous marriage, Esther Davila of Manvel, TX, Eloy C. Gonzalez Jr. and Solomon Gonzalez of Texas City Siblings, Eudoro Gonzalez, Houston, TX, Alice Gonzalez Vega, Houston, TX, Henry Gonzalez, Webster, TX, Ida Jeffries, Kemah, TX, Simon Gonzalez, Dallas, TX and Best Friend, Oscar Reyna Thank you, Oscar. He also leaves behind his fourlegged companion, Coco.

Pallbearers are David Davila, Eloy Gonzalez Jr., Solomon Gonzalez, Simon Gonzalez, Oscar Reyna, and John Michael Dunn.
