Elizabeth (Liz) Anne Welch

Elizabeth Anne Welch, 75, of Texas City, Texas, passed away on Saturday, December 16^th, 2023, at Vibra Hospital of Clear Lake in Webster, Texas, surrounded by her loving family.

She is proceeded in death by parents, Leon and Marianne Simmons; grandparents, James Walton and Ora Bel Mayes; husband, David E. Welch; and brothers, Henry Walton Simmons, and Alan Simmons.

Elizabeth (Liz) was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, great grandmother, and aunt, who brought joy and laughs to all that were around her.

Left to honor and cherish her memory are sons, David Welch and Mike Welch (Kimberly) of Texas City; sisters, Dborah Cerquoz (Robert) of Virginia, Jean Pollock (Hal) of Dickinson; grandchildren, David Welch Jr., Courtney Martin, Jeremy Welch, and Erica Welch of Texas City; great grandchild, Trindon Giles of Texas City; nephews, Stephen Simmons of League City, Richard Pollock (Willis), Michael Pollock (Santa Fe), George Welch of Santa Fe, Christopher Cerquoz of Washington D.C., and James Simmons of Texas City; nieces, Denise Cerquoz (Virginia) and Mary Anne of League City; great nephews, Davy, Wyatt and Elliot; great nieces, Ciera, Marianne, Charlotte and Weslyn.
