Eleanor Sole

Eleanor Jane Sole, 85, of League City, TX, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2016, at Clear Lake Regional Medical Center in Webster, TX.

Eleanor was born August 8, 1931, to John and Jennie (née De Reus) Schippers in Brooklyn, NY. She graduated from Bay Ridge High School in Brooklyn, NY in 1949. Eleanor was a longtime resident of San Jose, CA and moved to Texas 6 years ago following the death of her beloved husband of 56 years, Walter, to be near her grandchildren. She was a devoted wife and mother and spent her life caring for others.

Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents, and by her devoted husband, Walter Sole.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Leslie Sole, of League City, TX; son, Russell Sole and wife, Karyn Sole of League City, TX; grandchildren, Alexandra Sole and Victoria Sole, also of League City, TX.
