Elaine Pickett

Elaine Kathryn Matzke Pickett was born September 10, 1923 in Winona, Minnesota and passed away on October 30, 2021 at Village on the Park in Friendswood, Texas. Elaine and her husband Walter resided in Texas City until January of 2016.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m., Saturday, November 6, 2021 with a visitation from 11:00 – 12:00 p.m., at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City. Burial will follow at Hayes Grace Memorial Park.

Survivors include her beloved husband, Walter Ronald Pickett; sister, Audrey Vik of Denver; her daughters and their spouses, Karen and Rush Warren, Bonnie and Jerry Hatfield and Pennie and Paul Johnson; grandchildren, Jenifer and Jason Stephens, Matthew and Megan Chambers, Jason and Amy Hatfield, Rachael and Angel Echevarria, Travis and Marilyn Johnson, Sarah Johnson, Joy and Lee Risinger; great grandchildren, Maren Chambers, Monaco Echevarria, Malin Chambers, Jacob Stephens, Torie, Kylie and Jett Hatfield, Anthony and Logan Risinger, Bryce and Molly Johnson.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Northside Baptist Church in Texas City, Texas.
