Edward Churchwell

Edward Churchwell, 79, of Texas City, Texas, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2016 and has entered in Gods Eternal Kingdom.

Mr. Churchwell was born September 28, 1936 in Counce, Tennessee. He retired from Amoco Oil Company as a Process Operator after 28 years of service.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Wilford and Dora Mae Churchwell; and a sister, Mary who passed away at eleven days old.

Survivors include his wife, companion and caregiver of 47 years, Beverly Churchwell; his sons, Donald Churchwell of Desoto, Kansas and Brian Churchwell of Milford, Delaware; his daughter, Suzanne Collas of Newark, Delaware; seven grand-children, three great grand-children, numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Friday, July 15, 2016 at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City, Texas. Burial will be at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 16, 2016 at the First Presbyterian Church located at Memorial Lutheran Church Campus 2021 - 29th Street North, Texas City, Texas.
