Edith Hansen

Edith Elizabeth Betty Hansen, 86, passed away May 1, 2013 in Friendswood, Texas.

Services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 5th at EmkenLinton Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Galveston Memorial Park in Hitchcock, Texas. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

She was born on January 17, 1927 in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania.

Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Lawrence M.L. Hansen.

She is survived by her 6 children and their spouses, Mike and Dottie Hansen of Friendswood, Texas , Mary Cindy Marquis of Sugarland, Texas, Chuck and Sharon Hansen of Humble, Texas, Ricky and Patty Hansen of Friendswood, Texas, Debbie and Norm Cawyer of Galveston, Texas, and Bryan and Catherine Hansen of Magnolia, Texas.

Betty is survived by 14 grandchildren and numerous muchloved greatgrandchildren. Her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren brought much joy and happiness to her. She is also survived by her brother, Bill Tindall and his wife, Lee her brotherinlaw, Pete Hansen and sisterinlaw, Christine Lawrence.

Pallbearers are Royce Hansen, Michael Hansen, Tyler Hansen, Eric Hansen, Michael Marshall, and Zach Bridges.

We would like to thank the wonderful caregivers at Park Manor who provided such wonderful care for our Mother. Your kindness and concern will never be forgotten by our family.
