DOUGLAS DEE CULVER

Douglas Dee Culver, 69, of Texas City, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2014, at his home in Texas City.

Graveside Services will be held 11:00 A.M., Friday, January 17, 2014, at Forest Park East Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Thursday, January 16, 2014 at EmkenLinton Funeral Home in Texas City.

Douglas Dee Culver was born April 22, 1944 in San Perlita, Texas. He owned Accuracy Instruments, served in the U.S. Army for 3 years at Ft. Sill. He was a member of the Texas City Masonic Lodge 1118 A.F. A.M., and Pipefitters Local 211. He graduated from Dickinson High School in 1963, and he also coached girls softball and enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family at Lake Limestone.

He is preceded in death by his parents Roy Earl Culver and Ovalee Martin.

Survivors include wife of 47 years Loretta Estelle Culver daughters Kelli Moore and husband Jay Sunnie Michele Culver grandchildren Sydney Moore and Noah Johnston and his father Randy Johnston brother Roy Earl Culver, Jr. sister Ginger Townsend and husband Archie numerous nieces nephews and other relatives and friends.
