Dorothy Trahan

Dorothy Elizabeth Trahan, 93, of Pineville, Louisiana went to be with our Lord and Savior on April 28, 2012.

Dorothy was born on May 22, 1918, in Madison County, Texas. She was a homemaker and loving mother, sister, grandmother and a devoted and a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Pineville, LA. She was also a former member of First Baptist Church in Texas City, TX for 60 years.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Wilson Trahan, her parents William and Delia Childress her brothers Joe Doyle, Roger Childress and her two sisters Ruth Jones and Ruby Pokluda.

Her memory is cherished by her loving children, son Ronald Morris Trahan and wife Connie of Pineville, LA her loving grandchildren, Sherry Travers, David Travers and Michael Trahan as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at EmkenLinton Funeral Home in Texas City with Rev. Jim Thomasee officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster. Visitation is from 5:007:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at EmkenLinton Funeral Home in Texas City.
