Dorothy Jackson

Dorothy Jean Jackson died December 17, 2016 at the Rio of the Mainland Rehabilitation Center in Texas City surrounded by her children.

Services will be held at Emken Linton Funeral Home on 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 21, 2016. Officiated by Reverend Richard Kleiman, Minister of Texas City First Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be at 6:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday December 20, 2016 at the funeral home.

Jean was born in Houston, Texas on March 4, 1932 and attended schools and lived in Aransas Pass, Texas until 1960. Jean was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Texas City.

She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Jackson of Texas City, her mother, Willie Louise Pasur and stepfather George E. Pasur of Aransas Pass.
Jean is survived by daughter, Linda Mobley (Spring,TX); daughter, Melissa Caravageli and husband George Caravageli (Dickinson, TX); son, Clay Mobley; son, Kyle Jackson and wife Becky (Clear Lake, TX); stepdaughter Genny Jackson (Denton, TX); stepson Gary Jackson and wife Renee (Albuquerque, NM), stepson Ben Jackson (Texas City); grandchildren Nicole Morgan (Littleton, CO); Marika DaPron and husband Kolt (Dickinson, TX); Breanne Mobley (Texas City); Kelly Reilly (Texas City); and Beau Jackson (Houston, TX); and two great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Jackson, Gary Jackson, Mark Kilgore, Steve Luna, George Caravageli, and Kolt DaPron.
