Donna "Vicki" Guillory

Vicki, 77, passed the morning of June 8, 2024, at her home in Texas City, surrounded by love and her family.

Vicki was born on March 28, 1947, in Houston, Texas. She grew up in Westlake, Louisiana, where she met her husband, Carl. They wed in 1967 before moving to Texas City in 1968. Vicki spent her professional career much as she did her personal life- assisting others and making the lives of those around her easier. Vicki was an administrative assistant for Todds Shipyard, St. Mary's Hospital and Christus health, where she retired from.

Vicki loved to spend her free time traveling with her husband Carl. She loved their annual visits to South Fork, Co in their motorhome, nicknamed "the bus". Vicki also loved to visit her granddaughter Darian in California. She prided herself on never missing her great granddaughter, Sydney's birthday every year. Vicki's love for her great grandchildren was only rivaled by her love for her pup Sassy, who was waiting to greet her in heaven.

Vicki is survived by her husband, Carl W. Guillory; sons, Scott Guillory, Todd Guillory and wife Kristen; grandchildren, Darian Shimonek and husband Robert and Codi Guillory; great grandchildren, Sydney and Robert Lane Shimonek, as well as her brother, Steve Vickers and wife Reina.

A celebration of life will be held 1:00 p.m., Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City.
