Dolores Ione Frazier Miller passed from this life on May 8, 2015 at the age of 83. She was born April 29, 1932 to Hiatt and Marie Frazier in Warrensburg, Missouri. Dolores was a graduate of Gardena High School in Gardena, CA. She was a homemaker and beloved wife, sister, mom, grandmother and great-grandmother. Dolores loved gardening, decorating, crafting, her church, but it was her family that was most important to her. Dolores was known for creativity in decorating her home and for church functions and her sweet, kind disposition made everything more beautiful wherever she went. She touched the lives of many. Dolores served in her church, First Christian Church, for over 58 years, volunteered in the schools and served as a remarkable Girl Scout leader to many girls.
Dolores is survived by Roy Miller, her husband of almost 62 years; a sister, Kay Rich of Lomita, California; her daughters Cheryl Allen with husband Barry Allen of Texas City and Gaye Jones with husband Doug Jones of Kingwood; grandchildren, Mark Allen with wife Cortney, Matthew Allen, Jonathan Allen with wife Carrie, Max Montegut IV with wife Monica and Shelby Jones; great-grandchildren, Lauren and Brianna Allen, Jackson and Austin Montegut, and Caleb and Joshua Allen.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Hiatt H. Frazier and Nora Marie Frazier, her brother and sister-in-law, Olin and Irma (Cookie) Frazier.
The Memorial service will be held at First Christian Church in Texas City on May 19, 2015 at 4:00 pm with visitation following the service.
