Deborah Arredondo-Solis

Deborah Denise Arredondo-Solis, of Texas City, was born on November 12, 1969 and sadly passed away on June 27, 2020 peacefully at her home at the age of 50 surrounded by her friends and family.

Funeral services, officiated by Jason Freed, will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, July 3, 2020 at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 am prior to the service.

Debbie was born in Texas City and graduated from Texas City High School, Class of 1988. Debbie enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, dancing to music especially Tejano, and watching her Houston Texans play.

Debbie is proceeded in death by her grandparents Lolo and Dominga Velasquez and Adela Sandoval and uncles Larry Sandoval and Joe Velasquez.

Debbie is survived by her parents Emmitt Arredondo and Bertilia Arredondo, sisters Jennifer Boettcher and Angie Henk, son Aaron Arredondo-Solis and wife Roxanne Arredondo-Solis, grandson Elias Arredondo-Solis, and many aunts, uncles, niece, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting a donation be made in her honor to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation at www.jdfr.org/donate.

After the funeral service, the family is inviting everyone to help celebrate Debbie’s life with a reception at the American Legion Post 89 Hall at 3028 29th Street North in Texas City.
