Dean Dollens

Dean Dollens, 82, of Texas City, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2011, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Thursday, July 21, at EmkenLinton Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Galveston Memorial Park in Hitchcock. Visitation will be 6 8 p.m., Wednesday, July 20, at the funeral home.

Mr. Dollens was born June 17, 1929 in Mart, Texas. He was retired from Amoco Chemical Company. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Frances Dollens.

He is survived by his sister Mary Virginia Pearcy his son James Dean Dollens and wife Robin Simmons grandchildren Nikki Niemann, Jared Dollens, Chrissy Dollens and Clint Dollens greatgrandchildren Brittney, Cole, Austin, James, Shay, Sara and Jakob other relatives and friends.
