CONNIE U. MARTINEZ

Connie U. Martinez, 80, our beloved mother went to be with the Lord on October 4, 2013.

Funeral services will be held 10 AM Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at St. Mary of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Dickinson. Visitation will be from 4 7 PM Monday at the Emken Linton Funeral Home in Texas City with a Rosary at 7 PM.

Mrs. Martinez was born July 7, 1933 in Austin, Texas. She was retired from Grumman Aerospace.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Cleto L. Martinez.

She leaves behind 10 children, Connie Reyes, Joe Martinez, John U. Martinez, Freddie Martinez, Cleto Martinez, Ernest Martinez, Janet Martinez, Ralph Martinez, Teresa Doyle, and Laura Martinez her brothers Santana Urias and Harold Urias sisters Mary Glover and Mary Reichard 26 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
