Christy Lyn Dobson-Rohde

Christy Lyn Dobson-Rohde, 47, of Texas City, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at home.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:15 a.m. on February 2, 2025, at St. George's Episcopal Church, 510 13th Avenue North, Teas City, TX 77590.

Christy was born December 10, 1977 in Galveston, Texas. She worked for Vital Care Home Health for over twenty-five years.

She was preceded in death by grandfather, Albert Tompkins; father, James Dobson and uncle, Dudley Tompkins.

She is survived by her husband, James Rohde; son, Destin Norris and wife Kailey; stepson, K.J. Rohde, Jr. and wife Britney; brothers, Alan Dobson and wife Vickie and David Hunter, II & wife Christie; sister, Jessica Hunter; mother and father, Cathy and David Hunter; grandmother, Sandy Tompkins; grandchildren, Carson and Bridger Norris, Amelia and Brooklyn Rohde and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, great friends and her fur babies, Minnie, Ositto, Pinkie, Piggy, and Gizmo.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. George's Episcopal Church.
