Charlene Bourgeois

Charlene A. Bourgeois, 72, of Texas City, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2017.

A visitation will be held 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Emken Linton Funeral Home in Texas City, Texas.

Charlene was born on the 7th of July, 1944 in Galveston, Texas. She spent her youth in High Island Texas and was member of the First United Pentecostal Church of High Island. After high school she moved to Galveston Texas and later became a long time resident of Texas City Texas, where she married and raised her family. She was a fierce friend of many and deeply devoted to her family. Charlene worked at Internal Medicine Associates of Galveston for many years until her retirement in 1990. Charlene was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by all. She passed peacefully surrounded with her daughter and best friend of 50 years, Ruby Sapsky. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by husband, Louie Bourgeios; son, Rusty Morse; parents, Charles & Lillian Ferguson & brother Kenneth Ferguson.

Survivors include daughter, Sandra Walton and husband Michael and two wonderful grandchildren, Candice & Perry Walton all of Texas City.
