Born and raised in Ohio on a farm, she decided to join the United States Army serving as a Clerk Typist. At Fort Bragg, her beauty and deep brown eyes caught the attention of her future husband, Joseph. After their marriage, Carol travelled with her husband and children living the life of a Military Spouse, travelling up and down the east coast, Hawaii, and Oklahoma. Carol and Joseph finally settled down in Houston, TX.
Throughout her life Carol was always a strong advocate for anyone in need, whether family, friends, strangers, or animals. With their new life in Texas, she and Joseph were able to devote their time and love to rescuing animals.Having instilled these values in her children, Carol left a beautiful legacy of compassion and generosity with anyone whose path she crossed. Whether it was a hug, financial, food or shelter, she provided them unconditionally. A loving mother and grandmother, and "Pretty Lady" to her husband Joseph, she will be greatly missed and forever remembered in all of our hearts.
