Carol Sierocinski Weatherly, 65, of Houston, TX, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2012, at Lexington Place Nursing and Rehabilitation in Houston, TX. Carol was diagnosed in 1974 with Multiple Sclerosis, but despite her debilitating disease, she never took a day for granted and always lived her life to the fullest.
She is preceded in death by her brother Walter Sierocinski Jr. and her mother Florence Cawley Sierocinski.
Survivors include her father Walter Sierocinski sister Marianne Perry and husband Donald daughter Jennifer WeatherlyObani and husband Uzoma son John R. Weatherly Jr. and wife Natalie grandchildren Jack and Caroline Weatherly and Aunts, Uncles and numerous cousins.
Memorial services will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, June 30, 2012, at West University United Methodist Church, 3611 University Blvd., Houston, TX.
Carol was born December 9, 1946 in Camden, NJ. She taught 3rd grade at The Awty International School and was a devoted mother, teacher, sister, friend, and grandmother. Carol was a hero to all who came to know her she had an unforgettable smile and contagious laugh that seemed to shine through, even in her toughest times.
Because of her sheer strength, unwavering attitude and commitment to life, we were all fortunate to have her, know her and love her, as long as He would allow us. God let us hold her for as long as He could, but now Hes called her home. We love you forever and you will never be forgotten.
