Carol Jean Patterson, 71, was called to her new home by the Lord on September 25, 2016 with family by her side. She was born October 27, 1944 to the union of John Clemith Quebe and Florence Quebe in Galveston Texas.
She was a loving Mother who focused her attention on her five children. She was actively involved socially, serving as Den Mother for Cub Scouts, two terms as President in the Opti-Mrs Club, active in fund raising events supporting the Optimist Club, the Childrens March of Dimes, and the PTA where she also served as President during the early part of her life while her children were young. She enjoyed doing volunteer work for St. Mary's Church and Our Lady of Fatima School where her children attended.
She was a strong woman who gave and would sacrifice anything for her children, family and friends. She loved listening to and singing country music. She had a beautiful voice that we will always remember. In her later years she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and pets, Jojo & Star.
She is now reunited with her Parents, John & Florence Quebe, Brother-in-law, Mike Bowen along with numerous Aunts and Uncles.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory and carry on her legacy, her children: Savas (Becky) Saragoza Jr. Scott Saragoza, Samantha (Steve) Brown, Sabrina Saragoza, and Stuart Saragoza. Grandchildren: Johnnie III (Kristen), Amber (Evans), Savas III (Tia), Lauren (Richard), Cole, Autumn, Paul, Emily (Madison), Jenna, Alexandria, and Samuel. Great grandchildren: Kaylie, Ashlyn, Faith, Hope, Destiny, Gunner, Evan, Grace, Isabel, Savas IV, Richy, Audrina, Dominic, and Julissa. Brothers and Sisters: John (Kathy) Quebe, Charles (Pam) Quebe, Dennis (Linda) Quebe, Ann Bowen, Joan (AV) Spain, Charlene (Harold) Kelley.
Pallbearers will be, Johnnie Guzman III, Savas Saragoza III, Cole Saragoza, Paul Saragoza, Samuel Saragoza, and Richard Perez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Madison Clark and Evans Chambliss.
The Family would like to thank, Dr. Kaushick, Dr. Nguyen, The Resort at Texas City (Staff), Hallmark Hospice (Staff), & Renee Rodriguez.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 29th between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Emken Linton Funeral Home in Texas City, Texas. A Mass will be celebrated in St. Mary's of the Miraculous Medal Church in Texas City Friday, September 30th at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Hayes Grace Memorial Park in Hitchcock Texas.
