Carol Danner

Carol Ann Danner, 68, of Texas City, Texas, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Sunday, June 3, 2012.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Thursday, June 7, 2012, at Emken Linton Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at EmkenLinton Funeral Home in Texas City.

Carol was born December 16, 1943 in Galveston, TX. She was a devoted homemaker who enjoyed family gatherings and cooking for her large family. When not engaged in these activities she enjoyed playing Bingo and Slots, traveling and spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids.

She is preceded in death by her parents Edmond Joel Wilcox Sr. and Gwendolyn Claussen Wilcox

Survivors include her loving husband of 40 years Ira J Danner Sr. children Ira J. Danner Jr. and wife Lucy, Stacey HiserLaTouche and husband David, Donna Plyler and husband Bobby, Donald T. Kenney Jr., Timothy Danner, Jill Danner, Lynn Culver and Jennifer Mendoza and husband Lindel sisters Gwendolyn Boggs and husband Don, Virginia Utley and husband Richard and Lorraine Wilcox brothers Edmond Wilcox Jr. and wife Barbara, Willie Wilcox and wife Mary Jane, Joe Wilcox and wife Retta and Ben Wilcox and wife Carmen 16 grandchildren and 12 greatgrandchildren numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers are Don Boggs, David LaTouche, Bobby Plyler, Tyrene Prall, Randy Wilcox and Mike Stevenson.
