Carl Williams

Carl Royal Williams, born in Texas City on September 18, 1959, passed away on Friday, December 28, 2012, after a battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Royal and Mildred Williams, of Texas City. He was survived by his four sisters, Linda Ball of Houston, Becky Reinhart of Austin, Patty Edwards of Magnolia and Laura Scott of Lenexa, Kansas. He was a loving uncle to nine nieces and nephews. Carls focus in life was driven by a love of art and music. He was loved by everyone who came in contact with him as a kind and compassionate person with a loving heart. The nurses and doctors who treated him called him the most compliant patient, they had ever encountered. He was a scrabble whiz and could remember memories from the past that others forgot. Funeral services for Carl will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2012, at 1:00PM at Memorial Drive Christian Church, 11750 Memorial Drive, Houston, TX, 77024. Following the service, a graveside service will be held at Oak Knoll Cemetery, N Amthor St., Bellville, TX, 77418. For those desiring, the family has requested memorial contributions be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society.
