BRENDA ANN COOK

Brenda Cook, 57, of Santa Fe, passed away Friday, April 18, 2014.

Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 25, 2014, at St. Marys of The Miraculous Medal Church in Texas City. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:007:00 p.m., Thursday, April 24, 2014 at EmkenLinton Funeral Home in Texas City.

Mrs. Cook was born January 19, 1957 in Amityville, New York. She graduated from Texas City High School in 1975. She was retired from United Space Alliance where she did debriefing for 25 years. Mrs. Cook was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 5400.

Mrs. Cook is preceded in death by her father, William Gill.

Survivors include her mother, Frances Gill daughter, Stephanie Dawsey and husband Aubrey stepdaughter, Beth Alessi brothers, Bob Gill, Mickey Gill and wife Janet grandson, Gabriel Degner step grandson, Tanner Alessi soon to be granddaughter, Allora nieces, Amy Gill and husband Zak, Kim Gill, and Jamie Gill nephew, Sean Gill and Wife Tricia.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ladies Auxillary VFW Post 5400.
