Betty Joyce Fuller, 82 of Texas City died on Saturday March 7, 2015 surrounded by family and friends. She was born on July 9, 1932.

Betty graduated Salutatorian from Buna High School in 1950. After high school she continued her education at Southwestern Business University when she met the love of her life, Jim Fuller. They were blessed with a wonderful marriage for 58 years. Betty was president of the TCLM Board of Realtors. She was voted Realtor of the year twice and received Stewart Title's Outstanding Service Award. She was a member of Texas City Rotary Club where she received the Paul Harris Fellow Award. She was a member of NAR, TAR, Woman Council of Realtors and top salesman for Etheredge Real Estate for 16 consecutive years.

Jim & Betty raised their 4 children Sara, Leanne, Buzz and George in Texas City Betty was a charter member of St. John's United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school for many years.

Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Fuller; her mother, Mertice Withers and her sister, Jan Campbell. She is survived by her sister, Georgia Hollowell; her sister-in-law Kay Fuller Ashworth; daughters, Sara Riske, and husband, Glenn, Leanne Post and husband Chris; sons, James "Buzz" Fuller, and wife, Cindy, George Fuller and wife Rhonda. Her grandchildren, Glenn "Thumper" Riske Jr. and wife, Kimberly, Dee Clough and husband, Mike, Kristen Fuller Davis and husband, Jason, Tara Fuller, J.R. Post, and wife Traci Bryan, Josh Post, Brett Post, Madeline Fuller, Carter Fuller, Ashley Munoz, Britni Munoz and Joseph Munoz, Jr. Her great-grandchildren, Kennedy and Kendyl Riske, Morgan Perry, Parker Clough, Tanner and Emma Davis, Zaelen & Deloni Munoz, Jayla and Jayse Conway, Chase Chatman and
Sophia Munoz. Her nieces, Katy Conti and Amy Pack, and husband Jeff. Her great nieces and nephew, Kalley and Tyler Conti and Scarlet Pack and many other loving family members.

A visitation will be held Tuesday March 10, 2015 from 5-7 pm at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City, Texas. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 10 am at St. John's United Methodist church in Texas City. She will be laid to rest at 3 pm at Withers Cemetery in Buna, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Glenn Riske, Jr., J.R. Post, Josh Post, Brett Post, Mike Clough, Jason Davis and Carter Fuller.

Special thanks to Trudy Lampson and all of the employees at La Vita Bella, where she resided for the last four years. Their loving kindness and compassionate care will never be forgotten. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make donations to St. Johns United Methodist Church building fund.
