Bennie McBurnett, 51, of Red Hill, Texas passed from this world Friday, April 15, 2016.
A visitation will be held 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City.
Ben was born October 30, 1964 in San Antonio, Texas. He was a graduate of Texas City High School. After graduating, he married, then set out to become a killer macho dude so, of course he became a Boilermaker! He worked in refineries near and far making very cool friends along the way. With his crew of awesome and amazing killer macho dudes, (and a couple of killer macho girl dudes), he kept this country running one turnaround at a time, Yes, that's right...... THE WHOLE COUNTRY. Oh, mighty dudes and chicks were they!
He is survived by his wife, Laila; beloved sons, Brody and Justin McBurnett of Texas City; grandson, Tyler McBurnett, who he loved to the moon and back and his fur babies, Pepper and Jezebel, of Red Hill, Texas who will be missing their daddy as well.
Ben loved grilling, oil, and politics. More than anything, he loved his boys and lil man. He will be missed so very much. In Lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your local food bank, learn your constitutional rights as a free citizen and be good to each other. Life's short, make it awesome!
