Barbara Jeanette Wagner, 75, Friendswood, Texas passed away Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Memorial Southeast Hospital in Houston.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Emken Linton Funeral Home in Texas City. Burial will follow at Grace Memorial Park in Hitchcock. Visitation will be from 5:007:00 PM, Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at EmkenLinton Funeral Home.

Mrs. Wagner was born on October 19, 1936 in Neenah, Wisconsin and Texas became her home in her late teens. She was a loving homemaker to her family and she loved to sew and make crafts for her family members. She loved to travel throughout the United States especially Las Vegas. She was passionate about rescuing stray cats and giving them the home that they deserved. Barbara loved family gatherings, entertaining and cooking for everyone. She was crazy about her grandchildren, Maddie and Cody and loved to spend time with them.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband Calvin Cobb Wagner to whom she was married for 41 years until his death in 2004 and her son, John who passed in 2005 her parents Lawrence Jeanette Konzelman.

She is survived by her daughter and soninlaw, Lisa and Jay Lyons of Friendswood brother, Larry Konzelman and wife Rosary of Houston sisters, Mary Richard and husband Dale, of Texas City, Laurie Weihausen and husband Jesse of Houston granddaughter, Madison Maddie Lyons, and grandson, Cody Kenney. She also had numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers are Dale Richard, Bryan Chapman, Jesse Weihausen, Eric Richard, Berlin Cole Jr, and Cody Kenney.
