Antonio "Tony" James Quevedo, 84, of Texas City, passed away Wednesday January 12, 2022, at Friendship Haven nursing home in Friendswood
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Emken-Linton Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 21, 2022, at Emken- Linton Funeral Home in Texas City
Antonio James Quevedo was born March 1,1937 in Texas City. He worked for Southeastern Bell for 42 years. After retirement he worked as a security guard at Gulf Greyhound Park. He served in the National Guard in 1960 at Fort Hood, Texas
He is preceded by his parents and oldest son Michael Dean Quevedo.
Survived by his beloved wife Joyce Marie Quevedo of 37 years; daughters, Karen Pusatero and husband Jason, Alicia Quevedo; son, Jason Quevedo and wife Lucia; stepsons, Kenny Murph, Larry Murph Sr., and wife Sonya, 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 1 brother and 2 sisters.
Pallbearers are Daniel Castano Jr., Larry Murph Jr., Christian and Nicholas Cantrell, Zach, and Zane Wall
Tony will surely be missed by all who knew and loved him. You'll be in our hearts always.
