Anna Sparks

Anna Pearl Dunn Sparks, 87, of Texas City, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2013, at Memorial Hermann Hospital.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 A.M., Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Emken Linton Funeral Home in Texas City. A Burial will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery in Houston, TX. A Visitation will be held 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Friday, March 1, 2013.

Anna Pearl was born on March 22, 1925 in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Walter Garland and Florence Dunn. She was a loving mother, Nana, wife and friend.

She was preceded in death by her son Van Le Blanc.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years Calvin Sparks sons Andrew Le Blanc, Glenn Sparks and partner Oscar Monsibais, Jr. and David Sparks 7 Grandchildren 9 Greatgrandchildren 3 Greatgreatgrandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
