ANGELICA LOPEZ SERENIL

Angelica Lopez Serenil, 88, of Texas City, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2014, after complications with Alzheimers.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:00 P.M., Saturday, April 12, 2014 at St. Mary of The Miraculous Medal Catholic Church in Texas City. Burial will follow at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Friday, April 11, 2014 at EmkenLinton Funeral Home with a Rosary at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Serenil was born in Edinburg, Texas on July 31, 1925 to Amado and Camerina Lopez. Angelica was the oldest of five children. She resided in Galveston for more than 50 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Amado and Camerina Lopez husband, Jose G. Serenil sons, Marcel and Ricardo.

Survivors include her two daughters, Norma Rhodes, Mira Martinez and husband Bobby 2 sons, Joe Manuel and Rene Serenil 7 grandchildren 11 greatgrandchildren and 7greatgreatgrandchildren.
