Alice Laird

Alice Ann Laird, 75, of Texas City, passed away Monday, January 7, 2013 at Kindred Hospital.

Memorial services will be held 6:00 P.M., Friday, January 11, 2013 at First Christian Church Disciples of Christ 2400 21st Street, Texas City, TX 77590.

Alice was born October 8, 1937 in Hooks, TX. She was a secretary at Northside Elementary School, where she loved working with the kids and faculty. Alice was also a longtime member and organist at the First Christian Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents William and Pauline Sealy Duke and her husband George A Laird.

Survivors include her son Gene Laird of Houston, TX and numerous other friends and relatives.

In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to First Christian Church Disciples of Christ 2400 21st Street, Texas City, TX 77590.
