ADOLFO P. JARAMILLO

Adolfo P. Jaramillo, 73, of Texas City, Texas, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2014 at his residence.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 6, 2014 at St. Mary of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church with Father Tom Ponzini officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in League City, Texas. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at EmkenLinton Funeral Home with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Adolfo was born June 17, 1940, in Sugar Land, Texas. He retired from the Traffic Department for the City of Texas City after 34 years. He was a member of St. Mary of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church in Texas City.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Jaramillo, his parents, Venancio and Altagracia Jaramillo his daughter Christina Jaramillo and his brother Rufus Jaramillo.

Survivors include his sons, David DeLeon and Daniel DeLeon and wife April his daughters, Janie DeLeonKulackoski and husband Gary, Yvette Jimenez, Gloria Cadriel and husband Danny, Lisa Galicia and Diana Barba his brothers, Magdaleno Jaramillo and wife Fela, Richard Jaramillo and wife Debbie Roberts his sisters, Petra Pat Cano and husband Ruben, Hope LaSoya and husband Raymond and Gracie Chamberlain and husband Rolf thirteen grandchildren, Nessie Jimenez, Richard Ornelas III, Alfred Chlamon, Abraham Zuniga, Sandra Resendez, Tony Cadriel, Marci Cadriel, Joseph Cadriel, Jacob Cadriel, Brian Cook, Andrew DeLeon Crystal Beavers and Angela Melendez 20 great grandchildren 5 greatgreat grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers are Santos Rodriguez, Abraham Zuniga, Magdaleno Jaramillo, Richard Ornelas III, Joseph Cadriel and Gary Kulackoski. Honorary pallbearers will be Pete Ortiz, Richard Jaramillo, Daniel Cadriel, Ruben Cano and Raymond LaSoya.
